When should I register my new address?
In Turkey, a change of residence address must be reported within the legal period to the population directorate (nüfus müdürlüğü) or through e-Devlet (Turkish e-government portal). Doing it right after you move is easiest. If you hold a residence permit, check whether you also need to update your address with the migration authorities.
When should I move my utilities?
Apply for electricity, water, natural gas and internet one or two weeks before moving; moving an internet line may need an installation appointment.
